ELVIS SURFS TO DONEGAL

Hip swing your way down to Viva Las Bundoran on Friday, 5th November to check out the first Elvis surf competition which will decide who is King of the Waves at Bundoran’s Elvis Festival. It kick-starts three days of some of the best Elvis themed events and tribute acts, including the World Cup Winner Johnny Lee Memphis.

The local Bundoran surf schools will fight to be crowned King of the Waves. Each instructor will get special tuition from an Elvis professional on how to shake, rattle and roll.

Surfers must show their inner Elvis on the board and special points go for hip shaking and keeping their wig on. The judges will simply be looking for the best and most original Elvis moves out on the waves.

Kicking the Friday night off are The Three Kings - all champion Elvis tribute acts: Paul Larcombe, Mike Nova and Steve Caprice.

Saturday’s big show welcomes previous All Ireland Elvis Champions - Ciaran Houlihan and Tom Gilson.

The Grand Finale on the Sunday night will be headlined by ‘Elvis World Cup’ winner, Johnny Lee Memphis.

Tickets can be bought online at lasbundoran.com or over the phone through the Great Northern Hotel on 071 9841204. Catch up with all the latest Elvis Fest news via our Facebook and here.
